Young People And MCC

VEP Programs

IVEP (International Visitor Exchange Program) is a vocational and cultural exchange program. International young adults between the ages of 18 - 30 from 30 countries, come to Canada and the United States for one year.

SALT (Serving And Learning Together) is a one year cross-cultural living and service experience for young adults from the United States and Canada. Assignments are available in the Caribbean, Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, Europe and Asia.

MCC currently has 20 plus programs for young people. Programs are for groups or individuals with terms from one week to one year.

Spend 24 hours as a refugee. In Exile...For a While is a realistic refugee camp simulation that challenges participants to "live it" for one day -- to experience the reality of refugee life. Perfect for church groups, school groups or anyone interested in a life altering experience.

Military veterans and conscientious objectors talk about their experiences and commitment to Christ’s way of peace.

Conscientious objectors to war come from many faith backgrounds, or may have deeply-held moral convictions against war which they would not describe as religious. Some of this diversity is reflected in the stories of conscientious objectors which are presented here.
