YAMEN!The Young Anabaptist Mennonite Exchange Network (YAMEN!) program is a joint program between Mennonite World Conference and MCC places emphasis on expanding the fellowship between churches in the Anabaptist tradition and developing young leaders around the globe. Young adults, ages 18-30, selected by their local church and approved by local selection committees and MCC spend one year in a cross-cultural assignment. ApplicantsThe participant is challenged to grow personally and spiritually through the cross-cultural experience, training and mentoring relationships and through personal reflection and study. Hosting Church/PartnerThe hosting partner offers mentoring and training.They receive new perspectives, cultural richness and personal relationship with an individual. Sending Church/PartnerThe sending congregation learns to identify young adults with a gift of leadership. These young people are trained and return to their home church.
