Humanitarian Crisis in Zimbabwe

Danisa Ndlovu, Mennonite World Conference Vice-President, came to New York to share his concerns about the political and humanitarian crisis in Zimbabwe. During a meeting organized by International Crisis Group, featuring colleagues from Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch, Danisa insisted on the gravity of the crisis . Authorities have kept Bretheren in Christ Churches in Bulawayo from distributing food in rural areas. Danisa aslo stressed the need for non governmental organizations to support capacity building among civil society the country.
