DR of CongoSince the war broke out in 1998, over 3.8 million people have died in the DR Congo. The country is now struggling to achieve a peaceful and durable transition towards democracy. Tremendous political, social, humanitarian and security issues still need to be solved. The Congo continues to need support. MCC UN office is helping coordinate the advocacy effort of Non-Governmental organizations in New York.
