The Broersma family

Pete and Stephanie Broersma and their family moved from Chambersburg, PA in March 2007 where Pete had a cabinet making business and Stephanie taught piano lessons. What’s amazing about their story is that Pete & Stephanie originally met at SWAP in Harlan, Kentucky! Since they’ve been married they have returned to serve with SWAP for a week in the spring every year. Now they are in service full time with MCC as SWAP Location Coordinators in Eolia, KY. Pete is a carpenter with HOMES during the off-season and they both help with ECCO (Eolia Christian Community Outreach). Stephanie teaches piano and home-schools their kids too! In addition to all of their volunteer service, they are parents to Caleb, Lydia, and Kenan, their three young children. They are truly living out loving your neighbor as yourself!
