Greetings from West Virginia, and the beautiful mountains of McDowell County. With over 300 volunteers arriving year-round, life at Elkhorn House can be hectic, but we wouldn't trade it for anything. We have learned so much about Appalachia, its beauty, and the great people that call McDowell County home. It really is one of those places that you won't want to leave once you get here! We look forward to seeing you!
