Livelihoods, homes and the health of unborn children and their mothers are threatened by flooding in Pakistan. Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) is using donations of nearly $700,000 to address these needs.
MCC-supported day care in Bolivia provides food, education and care for children. The day care also offers individual counseling and group workshops for their parents, who are often single mothers and who struggle financially.
Inspired by the late Wally Ewert, MCC sponsored refugee Chai Bouphaphanh's most recent success is having a photograph that he entered in a contest selected for the National Geographic collection of photographs.
