Synopsis:
This is a 3-4 month internship, providing research and monitoring on several U.S. domestic policy issues, as identified by supervisor. The intern will also provide logistical support for a variety of office projects. Internships are offered throughout the year during the following time frames: Winter/Spring (Jan-Apr), Summer (June-Aug), Fall (Sept-Dec).

Assignment Description:
The intern will report to the Legislative Associate for Domestic Affairs. Must be a team player, able to function as part of domestic team and the Washington Office team of 5-6 individuals. Able to take initiative, work independently, with bi-weekly supervision. Share in routine office administrative and maintenance responsibilities.

Location Description:
The MCC Washington Office is located on Pennsylvania Avenue, SE, about 8 blocks from the U.S. Capitol building. It is easily accessible via public transportation.
Washington D.C. is a highly diverse city of about 600,000, with the total metro area population numbering slightly more than 5 million.
