Reasonable efforts are made to place candidates in service even if their application is submitted later than February 15, provided there is enough time left to carry out the placement, preparation and secure the needed visa.

Upon receiving your application, Human Resources personnel will send out reference forms per the information in your file. Including email addresses for your references will greatly speed up the process.

The application process cannot be carried through to completion unless MCC receives all of the reference forms written on your behalf.

  3. Upon receiving the completed application and all the reference forms needed, an MCC representative will contact you with information regarding setting up the eligibility interview.
  4. An eligibility interview takes place to determine if we (our organization and you, as an applicant) are a good match for each other. Following the interview an interview report is submitted to the appropriate MCC office which includes the interviewers recommendations regarding the applicant's eligibility for service with MCC.
  5. An MCC Human Resources representative notifies you in writing about your eligibility status with our organization and passes your file to the Global Service Learning department for placement, if eligible.
