Safe Justice Encounters

Sometimes closure can only be achieved by confronting the issue(s). One of the ways in which to do this is to set up a Safe Justice Encounter: meet with the offender(s).

This process begins with a written agreement. The Victim Guide will:

1. Schedule a meeting
2. Set the agenda for the meeting
3. Arrange a place
4. Ensure safety for all participants
5. Record the event as needed
6. Debrief after the meeting
7. Plan next steps
