Safe Justice was founded by victims who realized their need for personal and extended support throughout their own time of distress. The mandate of Safe Justice is to empower, support and help victims to process and deal with issues arising from the Victim/Offender Trauma Bond they have developed with someone who has hurt them. Until there is resolution, victims and offenders can be bonded together in an unhealthy way. The bond can exist whether the offender is known or not, whether they are alive or dead. When the offender is alive and known, sometimes closure can only be achieved by confronting the issue(s). Safe Justice offers creative and safe ways to do this. |
