Create a Photo Card

Before entering the tent, take each child's picture with a digital camera. While children are inside the tent, make each picture into a photo card as explained below. Hand each child their card upon exiting the tent.

Supplies

• Digital Camera
• Laptop Computer
• Publishing Software
  Microsoft Publisher, Printshop, or other software able to print cards
• Inkjet Printer
  Preferably able to print 600 x 600 dpi or greater
• High Quality Paper
  Glossy inkjet paper made for color printing, or paper for greeting card printing

 

Instructions

Using the publishing software, design a photo card as desired. Scripture, refugee information, the name and date of your sale, and more can be included. Leave a blank area for a child's photo or create a frame into which a photo can be inserted. (Creating a card on 8 1/2" x 11" paper with two folds is preferable, since the ink may bleed through to the back of the paper.) Insert each child's digital picture into the photo space and print. Fold card as needed. Repeat for each child's card.

You may also have clothing available from other countries for children to wear for the photo. Children may then take home a photo of themselves in another country.
