Educate About Different Cultures

 

1. What do the homes look like? Make a "mini-house tour". Allow the children to go into a home made like the homes of children around the world. Allow the children to feel different things in different homes. Where is the water faucet? Where is the bathroom. How would the family sleep.
2. Have children carry a bucket of water to experience the weight of the load.
3. "Taste it today" International cuisine for kids.
4. Allow children the opportunity to dress in traditional dress of countries you are featuring. Create a "Dress & Shoot" corner where they can take home a picture of themselves in another country (see Create a Photo Card).
5. Play games from different parts of the world (see International Games).
