Why are children's activities important?

The purpose of children's activities is to familiarize children with the mission of MCC so they experience the joy of giving and learn to give themselves and their resources to God. Children's activities will show how Mennonite Central Committee works to make a difference in the lives of people and build future support for MCC.

Objective

Children's activities provide memorable experiences through experiential learning activities that encourage children to see beyond what they know in North America. Children are taught to care about others through activities that expose children to life as other children know it.

This manual is intended to give you ideas with which to be creative. Any of the activities may be modified for simplicity or expanded as time and resources allow.
