Maegan and Rachel bundled in snow sled
Our first full day in Peawanuck. Surprise - it's winter here! The group is not prepared. How many layers are you wearing? Are those socks on your hands? Anyone bring sunglasses so we don't go snow blind? After lunch nine snowmobiles with wooden three-person sleds in tow gathered to take us to "the Bay," Hudson's, that is. How far? "Three gallons" (1 1/2 hours)
