Blankets created in a Canadian correctional facility for distribution in Iraq.

Blankets of peace

Travel with us as we unfold the stories of people whose lives are connected by eight blankets. The blankets begin their journey of peace and solace in a Canadian correctional facility in Kitchener, Ontario and make their way through MCC distribution processes into the homes of four families in northern Iraq. The eight blankets were among 5,4000 blankets, 900 relief kits, and 9.200 school kits distributed in northern Iraq December 2007.
