A few days after arriving in Guatemala city :

"We spent time debriefing and doing a check-in on how everyone is doing. We began by talking about what people had experienced at the cemetery and dump. There ended up being lots of tears as people processed the injustices of what they saw, what their role is in those injustices and how they have felt judgmental towards the rich, American government, etc. It is OK to criticize but as Christ said, don't bother with the speck in your brother's eye until you remove the log from your own. That's what everyone was experiencing yesterday."
