MCC seeks directors of Human Resources and Resource GenerationSeptember 15, 2006 MCC has announced the opening of two senior staff leadership positions within the agency to be filled within the next four months. Directors for both the MCC Human Resources Department and the Resource Generation Network are being sought for the Akron, Pennsylvania, office. Each of these positions offer the opportunity to work for a dynamic and well respected international relief, development and peace agency which is part of the Mennonite and Brethren in Christ churches in Canada and the U.S. MCC is looking for highly dedicated persons with interest in the international work of the church and the ability to work with a wide range of agency staff.
Human Resources DirectorThe MCC Human Resources Director provides direct leadership to a 14 member department and helps to facilitate the operation of an agency-wide Human Resources network which carries out the human resource function of MCC. The job includes oversight of staff working at recruitment, screening, placement, training and care of workers, compensation and benefits administration, personnel policy development and maintenance of personnel data.
Resource Generation Network DirectorThe MCC Resource Generation Network Director provides leadership to the agency-wide Resource Generation network in order to establish standards of practice, set goals and build system-wide capacity in fund-raising. This job includes working to more effectively engage the network in fund-raising activities and innovation. It also oversees resource generation activities related to international programming.
