MCC in Nepal

Since the 1960s, MCC has worked in Nepal in partnership with United Mission to Nepal, an umbrella organization which carries out medical work, educational, industrial and community development projects.

MCC workers serve at Patan Hospital in Kathmandu and at Human Development and Community Services, a Nepalese Christian organization that works in conflict resolution and medical care.

MCC supports several Nepalese partner organizations that work in agricultural development, education and HIV/AIDS care and prevention.

Through its Global Family program, MCC supports a foundation of Christian educators who provide scholarships to children from low-income families.
