Restored John Deere Tractor Benefits MCC
A restored 1941 John Deere Model H tractor at the 2004 Ohio Mennonite Relief Sale raised $5,250 for the work of Mennonite Central Committee. The tractor had been in parts and in boxes, but after three months of restoration work that included sandblasting and rebuilding the motor, the tractor was ready for sale. Eugene Miller, John Raber and Ben Sommers worked on the tractor.
