MissionCharter Statement for MCC Appalachia Unit workersAs coworkers in the MCC Appalachia Unit, our primary desire and commitment is to be people who:
We also commit to working toward:
ProcessThis Charter Statement for the MCC Appalachia Unit workers resulted as part of our February unit retreat, held at the beautiful Bethel Bible Camp. The 5 primary and 4 secondary factors were selected from a larger list generated by group discussion. The group discussion included an excellent time of reflection on the past year's experiences, relationships, and lessons learned. The list also included items from various MCC documents. The complete list of possible selections is presented below. The Charter Statement is not intended to be a comprehensive statement of all that we should be or do in our ministry. Rather, it is a statement of commitment to pursue growth in particular areas, as a group and individuals in the coming year.
