Emanuel Daycare and PROED
The Emanuel Daycare Center and PROED
School is a program coordinated by the
Emanuel Spanish Mennonite Church for
children of single working mothers. When
children attending the daycare reached school
age, their mothers asked the daycare to provide
a before/after-school program. In Paraguay,
students attend school for half days, either
morning or afternoon. Global Family supports
the three church women who work with the
students. Global Family also provides supplies
for the before/after-school program, and helps
with costs of the support program for students’
mothers. *2008-09 fully sponsored.
