Over the past decade, Zambians have endured
prolonged periods of drought, which has had a
devastating effect on the country's economy.
Since the population is predominantly rural,
many families have become increasingly poor
and unable to provide for their children's education.
Currently, students at Francis Davidson
Secondary School, Hamoonde Primary
School, Batoka Basic School, Chimemwe
Community School, Nakeempa BIC Primary
School and AISHA Community School are
receiving help in their studies. Global Family
funds are used to assist struggling families with
the costs of education, including school fees,
uniforms and textbooks.
