Children in the Juja Education Program KenyaJuja Education ProgramWhile education in Kenya is free, students’ families must provide books, uniforms, desks, and examination fees. Many families cannot afford these relatively small costs. Juja Education Program, with help from Global Family, pays for primary and secondary education for very poor children. The funds also provide vocational training for students not financially able to attend university. In this way, they can support themselves. Additionally, refugees who remain in Juja can access the funds for education.
