Christian Women's Union of one of the Evangelical Churches of Chad
In 1992, the Christian Women's Union of one of
the Evangelical Churches of Chad (AJOSMO)
began to address needs beyond the immediate needs
of the local church. They focus on helping to pay the
education costs of children who have lost one or
both parents, since the remaining family members
usually do not have sufficient income to pay for
schooling. Global Family helps to pay the children's
school fees, books, uniforms and food. Women from
the Christian Women's Union stay in close touch
with each of the children to help them with spiritual
and material needs. *2008-09 fully sponsored.
