Women and AIDS around the world

Nyabonyi Kairo, 80, of Burunga, Tanzania should be retiring in the new brick and cement home she received last year as a gift from some North American Christians. She is grateful for the home, but continues to struggle with the reality that even late in her life she has to beg for food to provide enough for her orphaned grandchildren. Several of Kairo's children have died of AIDS leaving behind children that she must now care for.
