Saodah Gapi trims a mat that she made from plant fibers in front of the almost-completed house provided for them by YEU, with MCC funding, in the village of Lhok Puuk. Saodah Gapi sold two mats per week before the tsunami; since the disaster, she’s sold very few. Her neighbors, like herself, lost everything and struggle just to buy food and other essentials.
