MCC in El Salvador

MCC funds the construction of concrete-block houses in rural communities in Torola. MCC also supports the construction of rainwater storage tanks in La Libertad and sustainable-agriculture training in several rural communities.

MCC supports HIV/AIDS prevention education and counseling and other aid to people living with HIV/AIDS in San Vicente, La Paz, San Salvador, Marzan and Usulutan. MCC also supports mental health education and care in San Vicente, San Juan Tepezontes and San Ramon.

MCC supports peace theology training for El Salvadoran Mennonites and conflict resolution training for El Salvadoran organizations and government officials.
