Peace and Justice
The Peace and Justice staff work to resource and nurture the network of MCC constituents who are called to carry out peace and justice activities in their congregations and communities. Staff work in cooperation with conference peace and justice and Board of Brotherhood Concerns committees to encourage the expansion of peace and justice ministries that meet the needs of local congregations and communities within the East Coast region and around the world.
The peace and justice work within the MCC East Coast region reflects the peace and justice ministry of MCC's global involvement. Staff serve as a conduit to engaged constituents for information and needs that emerge from MCC’s global work, the advocacy and monitory role of MCC’s Washington Office and the larger work of MCC U.S. and MCC Canada.
