 Meet basic needsWater – Enough for healthy livingGive the gift of water. MCC is assisting communities in developing clean water systems that increase families' health. In Mozambique, MCC is working with local communities to drill and install pumps for new wells that will provide safe drinking water. In Santa InĂ©s, Nicaragua, plastic pipes installed through an MCC project bring water to spigots near families' homes. Families work together to preserve this precious resource, only using the water for drinking and cooking. Your gift brings water to these and other places.
$12 is the cost of supplying clean drinking water for one person. $70 provides materials for a well cap and drain for one well. If contributions to a project exceed the amount needed, MCC will use the donations to support similar projects. |
