Peniel Mennonite Brethren Church is offering a program to support children who have been affected by violence. MCC began supporting the program this year as well as offering crop assistance.
Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) and its partner, Justapaz, encouraged sister relationships between churches in Colombia and churches in Canada and the U.S. The relationships strengthen ties within the global church.
Through a quilting effort begun with MCC support, women in the community of Mampuján, Colombia document the horrors of armed conflict, their memories of home and their Afro-Colombian heritage.
