The video could be used in youth groups to help youth understand eating disorders so they are better able to understand themselves and others who are affected by them as well as to become aware of help that may be available.
Honest Talk About Serious Mental IllnessThis 35-minute video aims at helping youth groups discuss openly the seriousness of mental illness. It has four segments and comes with discussion questions. There is a leaders’ guide for four Sunday school lessons for youth with the same title and also put out by the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Reaching OutThis 22- minute video is produced by the British Columbia Schizophrenia Society and is geared to youth and people working with youth. It stresses the importance of recognizing schizophrenia at its early stages and getting help quickly. Youth leaders, parents and youth would benefit by viewing this video so they are aware of symptoms and where to look for help in the event that a youth from within their church or home shows symptoms of schizophrenia.
Remembering Tom: Coping with Youth SuicideThis 24-minute National Film Board video tells the story of Tom’s family. Tom was 18 when committed suicide and two years later his mother, father, sister and brother talk about their feelings and experiences following his death. The video would be helpful for people who have lost a loved one to suicide or to those who are trying to walk with a family that is grieving the loss of a family member due to suicide.

It could help them to see that they are not the only ones who have a spouse and parent with a mental illness.
