Youth and Depression I am very sad when I think of how many young people in our society live with depression in another mental illness. Your becoming aware of the issues around mental illness may help some youth to find help earlier rather than later.
Does God love Gabe? A few years ago, my son's best friend committed suicide. Dylan (my son) and Gabe, both teenagers at the time, left town on the Friday morning. They travelled up to the Bruce Peninsula for a couple of nights of camping. They returned on Sunday in good spirits, laughing and joking about their adventure.
Josh My name is Michael Dyck, and I am the psychiatrist who had the privilege of working with Josh Goossen. Josh is a Christian man who struggled hard to overcome a debilitating disease, a disease which ultimately took his life but never took away his burning desire to fulfill God’s purpose for him.
