Fresh flowers are still placed in front of skulls displayed at the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek near Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Some 1.7 million people in Cambodia perished during the 1975 to 1979 reign of the Khmer Rouge. Today MCC partner Youth for Peace encourages young people to work for peace and to speak out to improve the world around them.
