RESTORATIVE JUSTICE SPRING TRAINING PROGRAM

CJI's fifth Restorative Justice Training Program builds upon the success of the agency's previous institutes held biannually since August 2002. See below for registration information.


Victim Offender Mediation - Level 2
March 11-13, 2005


For those who have completed CJI's Basic Victim Offender Mediation training, or who have other relevant training/experience, this 2 1/2-day session offers an opportunity build and enhance skills and knowledge.

Basic Victim Offender Mediation
April 25-29, 2005


This five-day interactive session offers a foundation in Restorative Justice processes and basic victim-offender mediation. It is rooted in the philosophy and principles of Restorative Justice and represents the culmination of CJI's more than 20 years of practice in the field. This course is recognized by the Justice Institute of BC for 2.5 credits.

Restorative Action in Schools: Conversation Peace
May 26-28, 2005

If you work in a setting involving youth, this course is applicable to you. It is based on CJI's experiences implementing the Educating for Peacebuilding program in the Langley School District #35.
