Celebrating God's Love - MCC BC Service Worker Prayer StoriesAnnually we have a number of individuals with different gifts who have chosen to embrace biblically based “Upside Down Kingdom” values through an MCC assignment. These values involve embracing God’s grace, mercy and love as we humbly seek, together with our partner communities to walk hand-in-hand in both understanding and responding to injustices of violence, poverty and illness. We have invited our BC service workers, both at home and abroad, to provide us with insights on how they have witnessed and CELEBRATED the vastness of GOD’S GRACE AND LOVE in the midst of the joys and challenges of living in their respective placements. They have come forward sharing stories of hope amidst struggle, and requesting prayers that they, together with their communities, can receive strength and wisdom in walking faithfully and for thankfulness to God as they are embraced in a global circle of relationship that reflects “grace”. As you read about our workers’ experience around the world and in our home community, we invite you to listen, to reflect, and to pray with them. May their stories be an inspiration as you seek to enact and receive God’s grace within your own communities. Sophie Tiessen-Eigbike
