There are many ways in which you can get involved in the ministry of MCC in BC:

Employment Opportunities

Volunteer Opportunities

  • Thrift Stores - dedicate a regular block of time to serve at one of our seven thrift stores. For locations, click here.

  • Warehouse - volunteers are needed to sort clothing, make rugs, pack kits and quilt. To find out more, click here.

  • Festivals, Fairs and Relief Sales - volunteers make these events happen! Come join us! For more information, click here.

Material Resources

  • Blanket Sewing - volunteers are needed to sew blocks of recycled fabric blankets to be sent overseas. Currently we have about 22 congregations that have blanket making groups but we are always in need of more blankets - last year we sent more than 12,000 blankets to Afghanistan alone.

  • Rug making - old jeans and corduroys are cut into strips, sewn together and woven to make attractive throw rugs. Volunteers are needed for each part of this production.

  • Kits - school kits, health kits, sewing kits and refugee kits are all needed to be sent overseas. For a list of contents, click here.
