When Love Hurts Support Groupa ten week support group for women who have experienced abuse in intimate relationships Love is meant to be supportive. But what happens when you are hurt by the one you love? This 10 week support group will help you to interpret your relationship in valuable new ways. Drawing on your own wisdom and the wisdom of many women who share your experience, When Love Hurts helps you find the answers you've been looking for in a safe, confidential environment. When Love Hurts explores many difficult questions such as: What's wrong with my relationship? Why does my partner hurt me? Is there something wrong with me? Why do I stay in the relationship? Will counselling help? What about my children? When Love Hurts will help you discover courage and wisdom within yourself and give you hope for a brighter future. Here's what women have said after attending When Love Hurts . “At the When Love Hurts group, I appreciated that I was listened to and understood. Each participant comes to the group with different circumstances and experiences, but it was so comforting to know that I was not alone.” “What I appreciated most about the group was the care everyone showed for each other. It felt safe, and it was nice to feel that we are not alone. The information presented is enough to restore some semblance of sanity and self-worth.” “It was so helpful to realize that I'm not the only one in this situation, and it was good, being closer to other women. I wish the group would be longer. This program should be widely spread around.” When Love Hurts will begin in this area in early May.
