International Volunteer Exchange Program (IVEP)

Myriam Ullah , Coordinator

The International Volunteer Exchange Program (IVEP) is a peace program that works, not in a big sweep, but one small ripple at a time, with each ripple enlarging with every expanding circle by encouraging cultural interchange. It brings single Christian Young adults from countries around the world where MCC is involved, to North America to live and work for one year. These young people are sponsored by various work places and are hosted in our homes. MCCS has been receiving 4 to 6 of these young adults a year for several years. The churches send their best and brightest to us and they look forward to these young people coming home to use their experience to enrich their home communities and churches. Many church leaders around the world have been among us as" IVEPers." We have been blest in many ways through the experiences of IVEP.
