We'd love to have you join us for an MCC alumni/friends event on Wednesday evening, July 3, from 8:30 - 10:00 p.m. Come for informal conversation, refreshments and a short time of sharing by Dan and Jeanne Jantzi, MCC area directors for southeast Asia. I'll also provide a brief update on MCC's current work. --------------------------------- MCC alumni and friends are invited to a potluck picnic at the West Shore Brethren In Christ Church, 1085 Orrs Bridge Road, Mechanicsburg, Pa. from 5:00 -7:00 pm on Saturday, July 6, 2013. This event will focus on Brethren in Christ stories in MCC. Joe and Wanda Manickum, Area Directors for Northeast/South Central Asia, will be sharing from their experiences. Potluck supper: if your first name begins with A-P please bring a main course or salad dish. Alumni and friends of Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) are invited to a gathering from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 2, during Conservative Mennonite Conference's annual conference at Locust Grove Mennonite Church, Belleville, Pa, in Room 106. Hear stories of MCC's work in both local and overseas contexts and share some of your own stories. Connect with other friends of MCC and enjoy refreshments. MCC East Coast executive director Bruce Campbell-Janz and Linda Geissinger, MCC East Coast thrift shop coordinator, will both share a story. Former MCC workers, past or present volunteers with meat canning, relief sales, thrift shops, those who contribute financially, those who pray for the work of MCC - all are welcome to fellowship together! ---------------------------------- A reunion for MCC Bolivia alumni will be held July 4-6, 2014, at Rocky Mountain Mennonite Camp in Divide, Colo. Planners would like to hear from alumni by June 30, 2013. For more information, please see this pdf. ----------------------------------- Southern Africa MCC alumni in British Columbia will hold a reunion in 2014 in Abbotsford, B.C. The reunion is for all workers who have ever worked in southern Africa with organizations like MCC, AIMM, and others. ------------------------------------ Do you have an MCC reunion planned?
