Professional Misconduct

Reporting

Guidelines for dealing with professional/clergy misconduct involving children and youth (minors)

If abuse is suspected in any situation involving children, it is required by law that the information be reported to Police, who have the responsibility of investigating the situation and proceeding as required by law.

Guidelines for dealing with professional misconduct involving adults should be available from the related professional organization.

Clergy misconduct policies and procedures should be available from the church denominational offices.
